Contrary to our usual practice up to now, we are writing this experience report, because we want to help all desperate couples with our story and our experiences if necessary. After several unsuccessful years, we turned to the Prague FertiCare clinic as an "aging couple" ourselves. Since we already knew and tried several fertility clinics in Germany and one in the Czech Republic, we were of course skeptical. As is so often the case, one always has the feeling that the vague hope of having a child is meant to earn a lot of money and that in the end you are left with no child and no money. However, we felt we were in very good hands here right from the start. The clinic makes a clean impression and exudes a warm atmosphere in which you feel comfortable and welcome. The emails were - if important - still answered on the same day and Dr. Uher called back if necessary. A recall, some of which was promised until 9 p.m., always took place. Reliability is really important here. Since there are coordinators who each speak several languages fluently, there is no real language barrier. Dr. Uher speaks German and understands everything. Admittedly, we weren't lucky the first or second time either. However, this was very likely because I reacted in some way to my husband's semen with rejection. No matter whether with egg donation or specially fertilized egg cells, none of them wanted to stay. The embryos from egg donation looked very promising and well developed. However, there was no more than one biochemical pregnancy. After consulting and consulting with Dr. Before that we decided to donate embryos. Unlike in Germany, the embryos here are only developed with very good donor eggs and sperm, which has a high success rate, as there are no embryos left over from couples who had problems themselves and were usually of an advanced age themselves. To be on the safe side, the embryos were genetically examined before the transfer. In this way we obtained 6 good embryos. We decided on a single transfer. Despite initial bleeding, which probably came from a hematoma due to the transfer, our little worm stayed with the first attempt (!) Until the end. He is now 4 months old and very healthy. We can only recommend this step to every desperate couple who are considered to have been out of therapy in Germany. In the end it is like an adoption from the beginning, only that the experiences in pregnancy and thus the development in the whole further life can be co-determined and experienced. There are no trauma from pregnancy that you don't know about. Despite a few initial concerns, there really is no difference in love for this baby. My husband and I would certainly not love a genetically own baby anymore. This was already the case during pregnancy. It felt good to us right away. We will tell our child the special story of how it came about from an age-appropriate age as soon as they ask questions. For this purpose a loving book was written by a FertiCare employee, which tells the "development story" in a simple and child-friendly way. You can always rely on the FertiCare team, even during pregnancy. If the clinic hadn't given me a drug that stops bleeding and is also available in Germany, the miracle would probably not have remained. In Germany, this preparation is known neither to clinics nor to gynecologists. However, my gynecologist prescribed it for me because she was of the opinion that "one can only win". After 2 tablets the spook was over. Afterwards we can warmly recommend the FertiCare-Klinik to all affected couples. Here the couple, their wishes and fears are actually addressed and sometimes new paths are broken, provided that there is only the vague hope that this will support the implantation. In about a year we will try to "pick up" and carry a sibling. We already have a good feeling in advance because we are sure of the loving and valuable support of the entire team. A very special thank you goes to the former coordinator Denisa, who mentally helped us through difficult times.

We were surprised by the quality of the FertiCare clinic's staff. You can see that they have a lot of experience. Doctor Uher is very personable. He answered all of our questions very well. Nurses are very nice, they speak German quite well. We definitely recommend this clinic.
