Herzzentrum Leipzig

Located in Leipzig, Germany, Helios Heart Center was established in 1994 as an advanced cardiac facility. Since 2014 it has been full subsiadiary of the HELIOS Kliniken Gmbh, one of the leading groups in Europe in the private healthcare sector. Helios Heart Center Leipzig houses 440 inpatient beds and 12 outpatient beds, and provides assistance to nearly 44,000 patients annually. More than 1,450 professionals work at the center under the direction of experienced physicians, surgeons and scientists.

Helios Heart Center is a university hospital and part of the Faculty of Medicine at Leipzig University. Since 1994 The Heart Center Leipzig has been at the forefront of innovative treatment methods for heart disease, including minimally invasive cardiac valve surgery, catheter-based valve replacement or paediatric heart surgery.
