About Dr. Firdavs Ahmedov
Dr. Firdavs Ahmedov is a hair transplant surgeon at Smile Hair Clinic, and is an associate member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). He was already inclined towards aesthetic medicine when studying at Ege University, where he gained much experience in general surgery and emergency medicine in order to maximise his practise skills by the time he graduated in 2012. He went on to develop these further by training in advanced surgical techniques across different private and public health institutions, including prominent ones like Mount Sinai Hospital, the Recanati Miller Transplant Institute, and the James J. Peters Bronx Military Hospital in New York, USA. He also has a broad understanding of the managerial side of things, having served as Vice President of the International Patient Centre of the Medicana Health Group.
2015 is when Dr. Ahmedov shifted professionally into hair transplantation, working at top facilities certified by the Turkish Republic Ministry of Health. He works with male and female patients and his main area of expertise is DHI and FUE as well as corrective hair transplants. He is versed in micro-motor and manual graft extraction, and uses sapphire blades to create channels in the recipient area. With a focus on patient satisfaction, he uses his surgical accuracy to create natural-looking results. Over 3,500 procedures later, he is now well-established within a team that attracts many international patients.
